Shepherd

Notes

Although it passes our “God Is” test, shepherd is not an attribute of God. Instead, it alludes to all that He does to reconcile and care for his children, including:

  • He chose to love us before the foundation of the earth (Will)
  • The good Shepherd laid down his life to save us (Grace, Mercy)
  • He adopted us (Good)
  • He is good to us
  • Jesus knows us

This list needs a lot of work! Hmm, maybe there’s another website here: What has God done for us?
